Nebraska State Fair (part 1)

This weekend our family went on a spur of the moment trip to the fair. For the kids this was our first experience at a state fair, and boy was it a blast! Our weekend was full of pig races, wolf and tiger shows, pie and pudding eating contests and much, much more. Here are some pictures.

 This was the strangest site I have ever seen. She is a "Living Vine". I do have to admit it was interesting to watch the way she moved around.

Time With Friends

     A couple weeks ago, we had the privilege of having some good friends over. It was three days  full of fun (and lots of giggles:).

We love you girls and are so grateful for you friendship!

I LOVE the words to this song! Through singing these words you are acknowledging the fact that you are dependant on the Lord and His strength, no matter what you are going through we need Him.

Special Friends

I have just recently had the chance to spend time with some friends for the weekend, and it was GREAT to get to know them better.

We all worked together at the NICHE homeschool children's conference and all enjoyed serving the Lord together(that explains the matching shirts:) There were roughly 120 children and for that we give God the glory!

Psalm 19

                               
                                            The heavens are telling of the glory of God;

Uriah's 1st Birthday

It is hard to believe this is Uriah a year ago, time flies.

At first Uriah wasn't sure what the opening of presents was all about,but I think he at least enjoyed the attention.

           On our first birthday we get our first taste of cake. This is Uriah's special cake

                                             He looks completely bored.

Uriah was the only baby who didn't get messy or devour the cake.

Brecken's Birthday

Brecken celebrated her 8th birthday recently, and it was so fun seeing the change in her over the past year.

One thing you should know about Brecken is she LOVES horses! So for her birthday she gets to attend horse lessons. Her first lesson was today and she had a blast.
